MitchellKornArts has agreed to design the new Cleveland School of the Arts.

Mitchell Korn and MitchellKornArts have been selected to educationally design the new Cleveland School of the Arts, which will be built at University Circle across from The Cleveland Orchestra’s Severance Hall and The Cleveland Museum of Art. Assisted by Dr. Robert Horowitz, Yolande Spears, Dr. Reka Rajan, Dr. Dan Serig and Melanie Grand, the team will create the curriculum, faculty design, admission and audition process, partnerships, alignment with the Cleveland Schools Transformation Plan, career and higher education pathways and more. A public/private partnership, the school and its partners are committed to becoming an international arts school model.

UPDATE:

MitchellKornArts has agreed to design the new Cleveland School of the Arts and a simultaneous arts education master plan for the Cleveland Municipal School District.
